Spray-on condom

The latex condom will be sprayed on by inserting the penis into a canister and then pressing a button to release the liquid out of some 30 nozzles. The spray-on condom will fit all sizes and forms, an answer many men have been looking for.
The other plus side to the spray-on condom is that the latex skin would only be 0.015mm to 0.040mm thin in comparison to the average of 0.060mm in other condoms. This is good news for most men who feel the ‘old school’ condom makes intercourse less stimulating.
At the present moment in time, researchers aren’t yet sure as to when the product will be ready for the market and the public; the spray-on team is still working on some technical issues.
As far as technicalities go, one thing that might be crucial to the success of this product is the time it takes for the latex to dry, and since the condom would have to be applied while the penis is erect, researchers fear the 20 seconds it currently takes would be too long a time to break away from ‘the heat of the moment’.
On the legal front, the spray-on condom is not a condom in the classic sense and would therefore not have to comply with the existing norm, which then might also delay the release date, should it ever be market ready.
The researchers are confident that they will be able to bring the vulcanization process (drying time) to approximately 5-10 seconds and that the spray-on condom will be equally effective as a normal condom. This futuristic form of contraception is also said to never slip off. The same principles which apply to the normal condom will apply to the spray-on condom in that you would take it off in the same way and only use each latex condom once.
As far as prices go, the German developers believe the one-time canister will be in the R200 bracket while the latex cartridges which attach to the top of the canister will be in the R50-R80 bracket and each canister will produce between 10 and 20 latex condoms.
Unlike the ‘old school’ condom, it is not possible to spray on ribs or studs as well as flavours because of the chemical composition, but they will be available in red, green, yellow and transparent versions as well as various strengths of the latex skin.
Whether men would be willing to insert their penises into a closed canister remains unanswered, but the developers warn that the spray-on condom should be regarded as just a product idea at this present moment in time.
