Masturbation: Flying solo has never been safer!
For years, the subject of masturbation has always been a taboo. There has been many myths on the ‘physical harm’ masturbation can have on a person. But it’s only the worry, shame and all the conflicting emotions attached to the act that make people shy away from sexually stimulating themselves.
Strong negative messages play a role
Messages conveyed by others and the general perception on masturbation plays a massive role in the way most people perceive the act. One may not personally feel the same way but it’ll always be at the back of their minds and eventually it’ll eat away at most people who will seek other ways, sometimes physically harmful, to pull away from masturbating.

“Blame everything on masturbation”
Having circulated negative messages about masturbation there also had to be physical proof that the act was bad for dignified people. The ‘blame in on masturbation’ reason proved to be a good excuse, everything from sudden hair loss, erectile dysfunctions, dark circles under the eyes were all said to be a result of flying solo.
But logically speaking, any of these occurrences could be the result of things like growing older or a medical condition. Many 30 to 40-year-olds wouldn’t be shocked to find that their eyes have bags beneath or that they can’t pull off all nighters when it comes to love making. But society has made people believe that masturbation is bad and is the reason for all these ‘untimely’ occurrences.
Why not conduct this experiment?
If you are not convinced that masturbation does not play a role in the physical changes you have experienced, then the solution would be to do a little experiment. Try to lessen the number of times you masturbate or stop doing it for a few months and see if there are any changes.
Take into consideration that refraining from ‘relieving’ yourself for an extended period of time can lead to other physical and psychological occurrences. These include irritability, difficulty in concentrating, insomnia and wet dreams.
The choice to masturbate is one most teenagers and young adults are faced with on a daily basis. Moral and spiritual beliefs play a vital rule in the number of individuals who choose to take ‘matters into their own hands’. Myths and negative beliefs should have nothing to do with the decision. Individuals should freely opt to fly solo, without the fear of their penises falling off and the fear of never ejaculating again, as you had wasted your sperm all the times you masturbated.
Masturbation is considered best for individuals who are not in a relationship and have no desire to go on ‘the hunt’ for a sexual partner. There are virtually no risks for contracting infectious diseases. Always remember to wash your toys clean after use and to wash your hands before they come into contact with your private parts.
